      How to Setup Automated Weather Alerts

      This article provides insight on how to set up weather alerts for your organization

      911Cellular Automated Weather Alerts allows you to automatically notify your Alert Recipients of weather events occurring within a predefined geofence. Automatic Weather Notifications can be configured to send to via any of the available methods of sending.


      Automated Weather Notifications are currently limited to National Weather Service (NWS) weather events.


      Getting Started


      1. Go to Settings > Mass Notification System > Automated Weather Notifications
      2. Click on Add Weather Notification
      3. Add Alert Name and Draw a Polygon on the area you want set up to receive weather alerts for
      4. Click on “Continue”
      5. Select “Methods of Sending”, “Recipients” and click on “Save” to save notification
