911Cellular + Bogen Nyquist Integration

The 911Cellular–Bogen Nyquist integration allows 911Cellular to remotely trigger predefined routines configured within the Bogen platform. This enables organizations to deliver mass notifications and execute emergency workflows across multiple communication channels simultaneously — including TVs, intercoms, phone systems, and email.

How It Works

  1. Routines are built in Bogen. All actions — what plays, where, and how — are configured directly within the Bogen Nyquist platform. The capabilities of each routine are determined by what Bogen supports.
  2. 911Cellular triggers the routine. When a mass notification is sent or an emergency workflow is activated in 911Cellular, it sends a trigger to Bogen Nyquist.
  3. Bogen executes the actions. Once triggered, Bogen carries out the predefined routine, which may include:
    • Displaying messages on TVs and digital signage
    • Activating the intercom or PA system
    • Triggering the phone system
    • Sending email alerts
    • Any other actions available within the Bogen platform

911Cellular Configuration Options

Mass Notification

Bogen Nyquist can be selected as a method of sending when creating a mass notification alert. When composing the notification, you can select which Bogen routine(s) to trigger as part of the send.

Emergency Workflows

Bogen Nyquist can also be selected as a method of sending within an emergency workflow. Workflows can be triggered automatically or manually based on conditions such as:

  • Location — the security zone where the alert originated
  • Device — the panic button or app that activated the alert
  • Incident type — the category of emergency selected

When triggered, dynamic data such as location and incident type is passed into the Bogen routine, allowing messages to be personalized to the specific event.

Important Notes

Routine capabilities are limited to what Bogen supports. 911Cellular controls when a routine is triggered — not what the routine does. All actions must be configured within the Bogen Nyquist platform before the integration can execute them.

If a routine is not behaving as expected, verify the routine configuration in Bogen first, then confirm the correct routine is selected within your 911Cellular mass notification or emergency workflow settings.
