How to set the Computer Panic Button location to "Remote"
The Computer Panic Button Remote Feature was created as a solution to prevent location prompts for end users who work remotely or off-premises. The remote feature does not only prevent a location prompt, but also prevents receiving Screen Takeover alerts. PLEASE NOTE: this feature is only available for users on an ethernet connection.
How to Set Your CPB to Remote Location
- If you do not have the location prompt upon launching the CPB, right click on the CPB icon in your system tray and select "Details". From the Details Window, select “change location.” This should pull up the location prompt window
