Whether you're using the full Mass Notification System, or leveraging our other products, customizing the 'From' email address is a way to ensure your recipients recognize messages you send
System Administrators can easily personalize the 'From' email address for all outgoing emails in the system. Here's a step by step guide:
- Login to the portal and visit the Email Configuration page
- Click the Pad and Pencil icon on the right side of your screen
- Enter your desired 'From' email address and click 'Verify'
- Once you click verify, you'll be presented with the SFP record changes that need to be made on your system
- Click on the blue 'Pad' icon to easily copy the record. Afterward, you can send it to your IT team (most likely your domain manager).
- Once the SPF record has been included, repeat steps 1-3 to change email address
How to Setup DKIM
- Repeat steps 1-3 above
- If DKIM has not verified, you will be presented with public key in a format for use in a TXT record and a selector
- Go to your nameserver provider and add the public key TXT record provided in step 2
- Go back to 911Cellular Portal and click "Attempt to Verify" in step #2 or repeat step #1
Important Note:
If you do not customize the 'From' email address, emails are sent from Alerts@911Cellular.com
Remove Unsubscribe Link
When this feature is enabled, the unsubscribe link will be removed for emails sent to recipients in private groups whose addresses match your verified sending domain. Additionally, it prevents recipients in public groups from unsubscribing from private groups.
