This article provides details on how to setup specific phone numbers for your incident types and geofences
With Incident Type Numbers, you can control the phone number that is suggested to Mobile App Users when they trigger an emergency activation or local assist activation and choose an incident type. The number that is configured will take precedence to any default phone numbers that have been set when creating and configuring the Geofence.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Applications → Shared Configuration → Incident Types → Configure Incident Type Numbers
- Click on the edit icon on the geofence and incident type to change the phone number that would precede the default geofence number
- Enter in the phone number and click on update
*Check the box to apply number to all geofence for the selected incident type - To delete the incident phone number click on the trash-can icon and click on delete. The phone will revert to using the default geofence number
- To bulk delete the incident phone number, click on the edit icon on that incident number, clear out the phone number, check “Apply number to all records with this incident Type” and click on “Update”
*Note that this will apply to all geofences with this specific incident type, regardless if the phone number erased matches or not
