How to Setup singlewire Informacast Integration

Setting up the singlewire Informacast Integration is an important step in utilizing the features and capabilities of the 911Cellular platform. By following these steps, you can seamlessly integrate your Informacast system with 911Cellular.

Getting Started

1. Login to singlewire InformaCast
2. Create an Application 
   1. Admin → Applications → Create Application
   
   
3. Add Name, select Custom API in Application and click save. 
4. Click Security then Add Security Group and assign to the “sender group” or a security group that fits your organization’s needs.
   
   
5. Click on Tokens then click on Create Token
   
6. Copy the token
   
7. Paste the token in 911Cellular Portal
   1. Settings → Integrations → singlewire → Bearer
      
8. To enable the integration to work seamlessly with your scenarios, additional permissions need to be granted either to the security group or the application on the Informacast singlewire platform
   
   1. Adding permissions to the security group: 
      1. Go to Admin → Security Groups → click on the security group assigned to the application
         
      2. Go to the Permissions tab and click on Global permissions
         
      3. Assign “Scenarios” and “Scenario Notifications” under Notifications → Command Center
         
   2. Adding permissions to the Application:
      1. Go to Admin → Applications → click on the application or click on the edit icon
         
      2. Go to Security tab and click on global permissions
         
      3. Assign “Scenarios” and “Scenario Notifications” under Notifications → Command Center
         

Next Steps

Now that the integration is set up, you can start sending mass notification messages to your distribution list on singlewire Informacast through the 911Cellular platform.

Send Notifications

On 911Cellular Platform you are able to send mass notification messages to your distribution list on singlewire.

1. Send Notifications →  New Notification 
2. Select singlewire InformaCast as method of sending
   
3. Select the Recipients and click on Continue
   
4. Select a singlewire Template and enter in the Title and body
   *Do note that if the message is locked on informacast the 911Cellular message is not able to override the message
5. Click on Review & Send to Review and/ send the mass notification
   

Emergency Management Workflow

In addition to the integration setup, the 911Cellular platform also offers an Emergency Management Workflow feature. This workflow optimizes the configuration of automatically sending mass notifications or having them prepared and ready to send with just a click of a button.

1. Settings → Mass Notification System → Emergency Management
2. Click on New Workflow and complete the emergency workflow form
   
   
3. Click on Create Notification
4. Select singlewire as Method of sending
   
5. Select Recipients and click on continue
   
6. Select singlewire template and enter a title and body
   
7. Click Save
