Explaining alerts from outside of geofences.
If alerts from App Users registered to your organization are triggered from outside your organization's geofence(s), no record will be made on the Emergency Calls tab. This means that if an App User activates an alert while they are outside the designated area covered by your organization's geofence, the system will not log it as an emergency call on the Emergency Calls tab.
Instead, the information regarding these alerts will be stored and accessible in the Emergency Calls Analytics. This allows you to still have visibility and access to the data and insights related to these alerts, even if they are triggered outside the geofence boundaries.
As well, Mobile Safety App end users will see an error message on their device, and be prompted to dial 911 (or a different emergency number, for international users).
