To update Wireless Panic Button firmware,
-
Open Settings → Applications → Wireless Panic Buttons.
-
In the Firmware row, click Release to publish the latest version.
3. Devices install the latest build on their next check-in.
Monitor progress
1. Open Manage Devices → Wireless Panic Buttons and watch the Firmware Version column. Versions will change to the new number (e.g., 2.4.0) as each device checks in.
If versions don’t change,
Rule out common blockers:
-
-
Device not Active or hasn’t checked in recently → it’s offline; restore connectivity.
- Check flag status: blue flag icon next to the version = update is pending; it will flip after the device checks in.
-
Low/critical battery → charge/replace, then recheck.
-
Devices follow your configured intervals (see Standard/Stationary Device Sleep Time in Settings>Applications>Wireless Panic Buttons). If Stationary is set to ~24 hours, it can take up to a day.
