What Happens If End Users Don't Select an Incident Type?
Details related to how alerts look if end users don't specify an Incident Type.
In most configurations, Incident Types are not required, giving end users the flexibility to trigger an alert without specifying an Incident Type.
If this occurs, the activation will still generate an alert on the Emergency Calls page, but the Incident Type fields will display 'Unspecified' as the text.
Alerts with an Unspecified Incident Type can still be associated to Emergency Workflows simply by selecting Any on the Incident Type dropdown:
