The Mobile Safety App has limitless customization opportunities via the Custom Tile feature
What is a custom tile?
A custom tile is a feature that allows System Users to create links to important websites and non-emergency numbers on the Home Screen of the Mobile Safety App. This means that you can easily access websites or contact numbers that are relevant to your safety needs. For example, if you have emergency policies and procedures established on a separate website, you can use the custom tile feature to connect your Mobile Safety App with that website, making it easily accessible whenever you need it.
How is a custom tile created?
System administrators can create custom tiles on the Mobile Safety App configuration Page. Once on this page, click the green plus sign (+) to add a new feature.
Once you see the popup, select Custom
Then, change the icon by clicking on the globe. If you do not change the icon, it will stay a globe.
Then, change the title of the feature by clicking on the Feature Label text and inserting whatever you want to call this Custom Tile
Finally, you can select either a phone number or a URL and input the necessary information.
Remember to save your changes on the page after the popup disappears.
